What does sponsorship mean at Mellivora? Saving Africa’s wildlife does not come cheap. A basic field ranger course for 35 recruits can cost up to US$60,000 with food, equipment, fuel and vehicles, venue, ammo, and instructor wages. Some of Africa’s protected parks can’t afford to have well-trained, equipped rangers. This is bad news for wildlife at risk of poaching. Here at Mellivora, we want to make sure our services are accessible so we can protect parks and save animals- but we need all the help we can get! We will connect you with the parks and projects in need of your assistance and offer our services at cost rates.
